Hey there, been a while eh? I’ll write a little bit more about what’s happening here in a few days, but this weekend I’ve been watching the WordCamp San Francisco 2011 conference, and with all the brilliant sessions I got inspired, so this morning I crafted this:
Thinking if this is at all usable. I’m thinking yes since I’ve been using TextMate for a little longer than three months now and I really enjoy the bundles and macros there, real time savers. Thoughts?
This is really cool. Will be interesting to see how far you could take this.
Thanks David :)
I think bloggers have been using that for a long time now. "Text expanding" software is around for quite a while.
But i might be missing the point. :)
Boba, point is that it's online and it's javascript, so no software, plugins, etc :) However, keep in mind that it's an experiment, doesn't hurt to try, right?
Hmm.. why only wordpress? Why not a browser plugin?
Then again this actually already exists:

Because WordPress is more portable than a browser plugin. Allows you to use it in an Internet cafe for example. There are programs for OSX too that can do that system-wide not only browser :) Anyways, it's just an experiment, right? :)
