My name is Konstantin Kovshenin. I am a WordPress Core Contributor, ex-Automattician (WordPress.com, WooCommerce, Jetpack), public speaker and consultant, enjoying life in the rainy UK. I blog about tech, WordPress and DevOps.
I’m passionate about web performance and scaling. Going from no visitors to millions of visitors is a nice problem to have, but also a technological challenge in many cases. I’ve experience building and maintaining hosting platforms, scaling web applications and database servers, building redundancy and high-availability, without (or with limited) over-engineering.
Today I work mostly with PHP and Python, though had plenty of experience with C, C++ and C#, building robots mainly. I also think I’m allergic to JavaScript.
I do code review, training and consulting on advanced WordPress concepts, performance, scaling and security. Schedule a call if you’re interested. Socials at the bottom of the page.
